Around Vietnam

Okay, Before the workshop other intern decide to have farewell trip to Dalat thus i followed.
The decision was suddenly and we brought the ticket right after decided. We took a bus with the Sinh Cafe travel agency and the fare was pretty ok with 200 000VND. Sinh Cafe can be known as the famous and most reliable travel agency in Vietnam. You can find it everywhere around vietnam. For sure the fare would be little higher than other because of it reputation.

Once we arrived, we found our hotel which everyone paid for 50 000VND. Cheap le....HAHA
After everything settle down, we went out for our lunch which was at around 4pm :(
Walking along the street and decided to visit the CRAZY HOUSE build by an Vietnamese Architecture who study aboard ( I'm not sure about the country)

The house looks good and match the tittle of crazy house ya...There are shape with a lot of pattern such as monster head with long tang and other animal room for rent.

At the evening time, We hunt for dinner and finally they decided to ate hotpot. The price for me is fairy good but the girls were mumbling over there....<..>

Come to the second days, we rent 3 motorbike and 3 driver from Malaysia be the tour guide. Our 1st stop was to the Water Fall (forget the name but is the nearest). We ride the mountain roller coaster and came to the waterfall...Although it was not as what i expected but overall i was amused by the ride down hill...Don't ever take the cable at the waterfall, it is not worth.

Next, we ride our bike about 20km and arrived at Love Valley. The weather that day was not good cause it was raining so we took lunch nearby with 'Com Tam' thums up.

When the way up to Love Valley again, i decide to drop by Sitting Buddha. The rain again suddenly hit us and we bought a rain coat to protect ourself. With the rain we got in the Love Valley cost around 40-50,000D (i forget).

The view there was exotic and spectacular I love it. The fuel and time is still plenty hence we headed to the oldest temple in Dalat. The journey was quite far but is ok we have lots of time and fuel. We ride through a mountain and have a great view there as well. The temple amaze me with the art and fine work with different colour of tiles that design the temple and Pagoda.

After hang around in the park nearby the lake, we ate a lot of street food there. The girls were full with the snack but guys was still hungry so we ate Phu again haha...Always phu in Dalat as it is cheapest food there...

The journey end with the dinner and we board on bus around 10pm heading back to saigon. We took Phoung Trang Bus company which is more cheaper, Faster and comfortable.

Life in Vietnam

Today is my sixth days staying at Vietnam. Everything was good and smooth, i started to learn vietnamese language everyday as i have to speak otherwise i will have trouble in getting cheap food. I am living with a friend from Malaysia. We stay at the last floor of the shop terrace. I think vietnamese does not sleep on mattress cause i sleep on the floor now. When the 1st day i was at Huy house i saw his brother also sleep on the 'tikar'/mat. The second day i went to Cu Chi tunnel which located 70km aways from HCMC. This was amazing trip, i was inside the small tunnel and from the explanation by the tour guide, the tunnel was the house for Vietnamese during the vietnam war and US force was try to invaded Vietnam in anyway. I also knew the story about how vietnamese win the war. Vietnamese woman have strong characteristic from the pass until now as every woman/girl here know how to ride motorbike and is very common to see a girl riding motorbike here. The food is quite similar to chinese but some are very delicious.

The third day i had a city by Aiesecr Tung to the Reunification place and visited the french church, opera and walk around Benh Tham Market. At the night time, i was having a beer at the local pub name Ciao. The draft beer here is kinda cheaper than Malaysia even in a pub. A glass of Draft Tiger beer is around RM5++ which u cant get it in any pub in Malaysia but i drank it in the heart of of Ho chi Minh City, District 1.

At the fourth day, I attended a Farewell Party for an intern from Indonesia cause he is leaving but is the 1st time i met him. We have lunch at Benh Tham Market and have some activities in the park.

At the fifth i went to Mekong Delta river, wake up at 430am in the morning and took a bus Ben Xie station and then express bus to Mekong Delta. We ride boat and reach Huy house. His family was so nice and we ate lunch which everything about fish. After that we visit orchard farm and ate a lot of tropic fruits. At the evening we had boat ride to floating market and ended with porridge with chicken.
